Langtang Tibetan Border mountain bike tour to Kerung is probably a new and relatively least frequented touristic destination in Nepal exclusively catered by us. The devastating earthquake of M 7.9 has ruined the trails of this biking adventure and hence this tour is suspended. However, the northern Tibetan border in Langtang, which still closed for foreign travelers, is under process to open and once it is open and all the ruined trails of amazing Langtang regions get renovated, this biking adventure will for sure cater the most beautiful highlights of nature, authentic Tibetan culture and the thrills of cycling.

The thrilling escapade on bicycle lasts for 11 days, which is an ideal time-frame to pedal to the Tibetan border from Kathmandu and ride back to the capital. This Biking tour takes you into the Shivapuri National Park singe track ride after the famous Hill station overnight stop at Kakani. From Kakani, you can see the great Himalayan sunrise view and beautiful landscapes comprising lush green hills and the Himalayas. Next day you will reach relatively less frequented touristic town Trishuli, an urban settlement nearby the old Nepalese capital Nuwakot. Then, you will enter Langtang National Park and follow the famous trekking route of Langtang.

A day biking trip to Tibetan Border Kerung by bike along the Bhotekoshi River is a kind of soft biking tour. The Tamang villages and charming natives will always extend helpful hands towards you despite all the hardships they have gone after the devastating quake of 2015.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Kathmandu.

Day 2 Day tour in Kathmandu by guide and prepare biking trip.

Day 3 Mountain Bike ride to Kakani.

Begin the Mountain bike tour to Tibet from Kathmandu. Ride to Kakani Adventure Camp. About 27 km uphill along the Pasang Lhamu Highway and paddy fields. Stay in luxury tented camp at Kakani.

Day 4 Bike riding to Trishuli Bazaar.

After the stunning sunrise view, ride down to Chahare bazaar and connect to Lokmarga (Popular Highway of Nepal) mostly off road downhill. After that, biking to Trishuli Bazaar along the Likhu and Tadi river Bank. Is one of beautiful biking section display rural Nepali farmer lifestyle. Stay in guest house.

Day 5 Bike riding to Dhunche.

Uphill bike ride enter Langtang National Park overnight at Dhunche with all meal.

Day 6 Ride to Tibet Border.

Riding to Near by Tibetan Border via Syabru Bashi Village along the river side back guest house with all meal.

Day 7 Cycling to Kerung Tibet Border.

We take easy and funny downhill to Syabrubashi (which is the gateway to Langtang Valley Trek) then, ride to Tibet border Kerung via Highway along the Bhotekoshi river bank. Lodge.

Day 8 Cycling Back to Trishuli River Side.

After visiting the Tibet Border, we return by mountain bike to Trishuli River side near by Trishuli Bazaar. Stay at Resort.

Day 9 Ride to Trishuli and drive to Kathmandu.

Biking to Trishuli then drive back to Kathmandu hotel with B/B plan.

Day 10 Free and self exploration in Kathmandu Hotel B/B plan.

Day 11 Final Departure.
