Island peak is the 6,189m high mountain top in Nepal’s Everest region likewise called Imja Tse. Probably the peak is beautiful island of snow in the Everest Region.

On a wonderful adventurous trek to Island Peak summit. You cross the threshold into the heartland of the Khumbu Valley and reach to Mt. Everest Base Camp (5,357m/17,575ft). The Peak (6,189m/20,305ft) is one of the top climbing peak in the Everest trek. The snowy mountain is impressive and highly glaciated west-face that rises from the Lhotse Glacier. How to expedite Island Peak

Before scaling the peak, we also take you to the most popular trekking destinations – Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. Is one of top mt. Everest View point– for the close-up views of Mt. Everest and other highest mountains. After enjoying the magnificent views of Mount Everest, surrounding peaks from Kala Patthar and at the same time acclimatizing properly for the climb, we descend to Chhukung and prepare for the Island Peak ascent. The journey begins from and comes to conclusion at one of the most famous airstrips in the world Lukla Airport.

This Summit days of Island peak begin early morning with an interesting rough trail and along the ridge of rocky high altitude glacier above 5,000 meters. We need to walk quite a step part before using the Island Peak expedition equipment. There are a steep snow and ice block before reaching the Summit of Island Peak. These few hours will be more physically challenging but a fabulous day for you. Our Experience Climbing Sherpa fixed needed ropes and find a safe direction and way to assent. Some parts of the climbing route up 60 to 70-degree face to the summit ridge of Island peak.

Best Time to Climb Imja-Tse

The spring and autumn season is best time to climb  the Island peak known as Imja Tse. History of Island Peak Climb

The Island Peak is located at the heart of the Khumbu region. It is recognized as a moderate climbing up top of the Everest area. Island Peak was the name offered to the hill in 1952 by Eric Shipton’s who believed it to be reminiscent of an island in a sea of ice. It was relabelled “Imja Tse” in the early 80s, though its original name is still more preferred.
