Option One : Hiking to North Thamel Jamacho – The royal forest hill station – 2400m – jungle Walk up and down 5 to 6 hours.
Jamacho is an short hiking trail inside Kathmandu valley in Nagarjun Forest Reserve, Raniban (The Queen’s forest). Situated in the north west of the Kathmandu valley, it is the nature blessed day hiking spot in Nepal. The trail enclosed by a thick forest inside the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park takes you to the Jamacho Monastery afer two and half hours of walking up to the hill.
