During the monsoon time June/July local people Sherpa people celebrate their CLAN god worship ceremony by Buddhist Lama and group of Monks. In the monsoon time, they leave their domestic animals to feed hygiene grasses.

Price Excludes

Day 1:

Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap (2900m) just before 25kms before from Salleri by sharing jeep/bus or private jeep. Take about  7 to 8 hours drive and stay at Dhap. Very simple guest house. Offer best local food (Dal Bhat, potatos, local breads and seasonal vegetables with hot/cold drinks) mountain hut accommodation.

Day 2:

Trek from Dhap to Jhapre  (2930m) today is an easy hiking day, we trek about 5 hours to Jhapre village, in route taste of local product, small village and rural lifecycle can be seeing. Tonight we stop an small family owned guest house. It is better to say a kind of home stay. Offer very simple accommodation, local food (Dal Bhat and Curry or similar meal)

Day 3:

Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base (3600m) Today we trek generally uphill to pike base, passing many stone steps, local peoples, animals and enjoy with the natural beauties from Pikey hill area. Just before 1.30 hours from the pikey peak top we stop tonight. There are two of very simple guest house offer accommodation and catering service. The evening and night can be chill and windy. We trek about 5  hours today.

Day 4:

Morning hike to Pikey and trek to Junbashi (2390m). We just wake up early morning and hike up to Pikey peak top to see the sunrise. We trek about 1.30 hours to the pikey top. View the sunrise and best view of Himalayas including Everest and more. Trek back to Base and breakfast, After that trek to Junbashi village.  In route we can visit cheese factory to taste local yak cheese. About 5 to 6 hours. Stay at comfortable guest house with choice of meal.

Day 5:

Trek from Junbashi to Salleri (2360m). Junbashi is a well known Sherpa village. We visit popular Monastery and trek to Salleri. In route we pass much more prayer flags and prayer wheels with carving stones walls. Take about 4 to 5 hours. Stay at local guest house and afternoon we can visit an Tibetan monastery near to Phaplu and return.

Day 6:

Morning breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu by local jeep/bus or private transport. Take about 8 to 9 hours. Transfer to hotel in Kathmandu.

I did the ABC trek with Bashu and it was just fantastic! Bashu is fluent in English and German and had in depth knowledge on all related questions that our group had on our trek. I will certainly come back to Nepal again and would book another trip with him in a heartbeat!

Last December 2015/January 2016 we made the 18 days EBC trek, together with guide Kumar of Nepal Footprint Holidays and our porter Sudeep. Both great guys!! We had a marvellous time and food and lodges were a perfect arrangement! Chitwan was a hell of a ride, but worth it. Parkland Hotel in Chitwan was 100 % the right choise!

Nepal Footprint might be a small company but nevertheless excellent! 10/10 we would contact them again for the ABC trek Annapurna in the future!!

I went several time in Nepal and I always take Nepal Footprint Holidaz Trek. Everything was amazing every time and I can not advise some one to go with an other agency.
