    Chepang is an ethnic group of Nepal who living still in wild. In this Chepang community trek up to Siriachuli village we introduce and interface you their lifestyle, culture and experience of short hike in the green hill to plains. This trek located between Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park kind of alternative hiking route to connect the city to Terai by short drive and hiking. The short and home stay/ Camping trek offer of the beaten hiking trails between Kathmandu and Chitwan after the Trishuli river bank. The community hike combined with various other adventures such as Trishuli River Rafting, and Nature Wildlife safari after end of the trek. You will hike along the villages and hills up to 1944m Siraichuli and down to the lush lowland of Chitwan Natioanl Park. From the Hill top and Gadi historical sight you can enjoy the best mountain sunrise/sunset view including 8000 meter Himalayas Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu and Ganesh himal – Langtang Range and Gaurishankhar.

    The trek is designed to show the Chepang Community, lifestyle, culture and the alternative walking and trading route between Terai Plains to Capital City Kathmandu for those people who have only short time, not want to hike high altitude areas and enjoy with different people and nature.

    TRIP ITINERARY

    Arrival Kathmandu, Hotel transfer, Evening welcome dinner in Nepali Restaurant . B/B plan.

    Introductory tours of Kathmandu by guide. Visit Buddhist Stupa Swyambhunath which called Monkey Temple, A great place to see the Kathmandu valley from the top of hill, Patan Durbar Square is an open museum for wooden architect from 16th century, metal crafts and silver jewelries, Golden Temples and Many Hindus pagodas and Palaces. Trek preparation Hotel B/B plan

    Drive to Hugdi small place along the Trishuli river bank about 80km west direction from Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway. Moderate hiking to hattibang 1405m. it take about 3 to 4 hours. A small Magar (An ethnic group of Nepal) Village. Stay at local home or camping. Grand view of Trishuli river valley and mountain horizon. Chat with local Magar people in evening and local food in dinner can be different option for you. B/L/D.

    Morning after 2 hour hiking you will reach to Seraichuli 1944m. view point/hill station. It is the Chitwan highest peak where you can grave panoramic view of Mount Dhailagiri 8167 meters to Gaurishankhar Mountain in north ridge and Chitwan plains and green hills majestic of Southern slope. After that walk down to Chepang Village of Jyanjala which is our goal of this Chepang trek. Chepang are one of most indigenous ethnic group of Nepal who live in wild jungle nearby dense forest with their culture, tradition and lifestyle. The main purpose of this trek to show you their lifestyle and culture. After that we heading to Upradangadi along the forest, easy hike that take about 4 hours. Evening pristine sunset view of southern plains look like fire. Stay at Gurung village and local culture program hosted by village people.

    This is the end day of chepang trek. We say good bye to villagers and walk down to Shaktikhor along the forest and river bank that takes about 3 hours. Short drive to Chitwan National Park. Sauraha an lunch. Free afternoon and sunset view, Tharu cultural program and relax accommodation in Jungle Resort. B/L/D.

    Full day in Chitwan National Park for adventure activities and wildlife presentation. Morning cannoning on rapti river than nature walk, after that visit the elephant breading center and village walk in evening . Watch the wild animal in jungle like One horned Rhinos, Black bear, dears, Bengals Tigers, Monkeys, various species of birds . B/L/D.

    Morning wake up call, Tea or coffee, Bird watching trip about 2 hours , breakfast and transfer to Kathmandu by private or Tourist coach. It take about 5 hours, transfer in Kathmandu Hotel. Breakfast and transport and hotel B/ B plan Only.

    Free and final depart or onward destination. Breakfast only.
