How to trek Tamang Heritage Trail

The trek begins with a journey from Kathmandu up to Syabru Besi. From there, you’ll begin your hike through Chilime, Nagtahli, Thuman, Additionally, on the trek, you’ll take a trip through Gatlang valley. Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Drive to Syabru Bashi.

Morning drive to Syabru Bashi about 6 to 7 hours drive, explore around village lodge with full board meal.

Day 3 Trekking to Gatlang.

Trekking to Gatlang. The hike takes about 5 hours. trek with a descent to Thangbchet. short rest with magnificent views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang range from North west side. Crossing the chimime village and famous hydro power dam keen continue walk up to Tatopani. Tatopani meaning Hot Water Nepal is reach of Natural sources with many Natural hot springs. People believe after hot spring bath many health sickness and skin problem will finished, Relax with hot spring. Home stay with full meal.

Day 4 Heritage trail trek to Gatlang to Nagthali.

Heritage trail trek to Gatlang to Nagthali. Walk 5 to 6 hours. Today you will walk along the dense alpine forest, reach to small Tamang Village Brimdang. walk uphill to Nagthali hill. A Ethical Tamang Heritage Village offer mesmerizing views of Langtang Mountain, Sanjen, Kerung the Tibetan Border, Ganesh Himal and deep Bhote Koshi Valley. Home stay.

Day 5 Trekking to Bridhim.

Trekking to Bridhim . A beautiful day of the Tamang Heritage Trail Trek. Short trek up to Thuman Village, Meet the Tamange People, than walk to Bridhim village takes about 6 hours. In Bridhim, Visit the Duckchu Buddhist Monastery, most of Village houses are made by stone. live Tibetan origin Tamangs ethnic group who speak mixed Tibetan and Tamang language. The women wearing beautiful dresses, that one of most traditional villages to see the living standard of Tamang People. Home stay.

Day 6 Bridhim to Sherpa goan.

Bridhim to Sherpa goan via upper route, takes about 6 hours. Walk with mixed trail up and down. quite narrow trail, panoramic view of Ganesh Himal. Stay at Guest house.

Day 7 Trekking to Thulo Syabru village.

Trekking to Thulo Syabru village, lodge with meal. Walk along the village, Ghoda Tabala, Den Forest, Lama Hotel and Step down to Bomboo. Cross the Suspension Bridge and walk along the Red Panda Trial to Thulo Syabru. A Typical Tamang Village on the ridge of Hill 2400m. One of the most beautiful village of this trek route. Stay on comfort Guest House.

Day 8 Trekking to Dhunche.

Trekking to Dhunche via Barkhu village guest house. Walk along the Jungle and Monkey/Leopard trail, grand view of Ganesh himal Mountain, Valley, reach to Thulo Bharku than continue walk to Dhunche. Stay at comfort Lodge. Final Night in Mountain.

Day 9 Drive back to Kathmandu.

Morning Drive back to Kathmandu and relax. hotel with B/B plan.
