For details, visit our blog Kailash Yatra

Many devotes thinking there are so much Lord Shiva and Parbati, Ganesh temples and Shivlangam around Kailash mansarovar area. Please do not believe that, Kailash Parbat is only a speritual holy mountain with the truth myth. Around there, not such any temples and shivalingam beside Buddhist Monastery and some Caves. But, around the kailash there are 108 holy places which representative different deities of Lord Shiva and Parbati including Nandi, Bhringi, Yogini, Saptarishi cave, Atmaa Lingam and Parbati Kunda.

Kailash Mansarovar – Kangrinpoche in Tibetan Language is the home and playground of Hindu supreme God, Shiva. Situated in western part of Tibet, Kailash Mansarovar has been considered equally sacred by Buddhists. It is also the chief pilgrimage destination for Jains and Bons. For the Hindus and Buddhists it is the center of the Universe.

A pilgrimage tour or “holy yatra” to the Kailash Mansarovar and to endure challenges of traversing across high passes and other adverse circumstances only to circumnavigate it, is the major goal of most of Hindu and Buddhist devotees. Devotees from all over the world throng to Kailash Mansarovar traveling weeks to months. Hence, it is an absolute opportunity for the western travelers to understand the Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist religious cultures during the Overland Tour of Kailash Mansarovar in 2018.

Besides, Mt. Kailash continuously feeds water to four of the great rivers of Asia namely Indus, Bramaputra ( Yarlung Tsangpo), Karnali (The sacred Ganges) and Sutleg which have their sources within Sixty miles of the Mountain. Precisely talking Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar are the integral reasons behind the civilization of Indian Sub-continent and the entire south Asia.

Join our Kailash Mansarovar Overland Tour 2018 that begins in Kathmandu and longs for next 12 to 13 days as we travel across the Himalayan high passes via Kodari, a small town bordering China. The tour not only important because of its religious value; it is also a great tour because all the highlights including Tibetan landscapes and authentic Tibetan culture are incorporated in the tour.

I did the ABC trek with Bashu and it was just fantastic! Bashu is fluent in English and German and had in depth knowledge on all related questions that our group had on our trek. I will certainly come back to Nepal again and would book another trip with him in a heartbeat!

Last December 2015/January 2016 we made the 18 days EBC trek, together with guide Kumar of Nepal Footprint Holidays and our porter Sudeep. Both great guys!! We had a marvellous time and food and lodges were a perfect arrangement! Chitwan was a hell of a ride, but worth it. Parkland Hotel in Chitwan was 100 % the right choise!

Nepal Footprint might be a small company but nevertheless excellent! 10/10 we would contact them again for the ABC trek Annapurna in the future!!
