Dream of every cyclist, mixed riding trail through Everest base camp, rongbuk monastery, Lalung la pass and Tibetan Nomad-en villages on roof of the world.

Lhasa, Everest Base Camp to Kathmandu Mountain Biking tour is a most demanding cycling adventure that covers the ancient Tibetan city Lhasa and all the major landmarks in Tibet. Also comprises the pedaling adventure to the base camp of world’s highest mountain Everest.

Lhasa to Kathmandu biking tour is an incredible pedaling journey across Trans-Himalayan trail that runs to join the two of major Himalayan capitals: Kathmandu & Lhasa. Landing in Lhasa airport is an amazing high altitude feeling. After visiting around dramatic multi stories Potala Palace, exploring Buddhist monasteries of Gelugpa sect and witnessing the nomadic lifestyle in Lhasa we begin the cycling adventure on the Friendship Highway.

Cycling in world’s one of the high altitude highways that has more than five 5000m plus passes is a sheer pedaling adventure any professional cyclist can dream of. The view of Yam Drok Tso Lake atop Karo La Pass, the cultural opulence at Tibetan Cities like Gyantse and Shigatse are fascinating highlights of the adventure. However, the ride on the remotest and the most rugged trails of Tibet that leads to the Everest Base Camp and the highest altitude monastery, Rongbuk is the cream over several other highlights of this cycling adventure in Tibet.

The latter half of the pedaling journey after visiting Rongbuk and Everest Base Camp cross passes the gateway to Hell, Nyalam and the last Tibetan town before Nepalese border, Zhangmu and ends at Kathmandu.

I did the ABC trek with Bashu and it was just fantastic! Bashu is fluent in English and German and had in depth knowledge on all related questions that our group had on our trek. I will certainly come back to Nepal again and would book another trip with him in a heartbeat!

Last December 2015/January 2016 we made the 18 days EBC trek, together with guide Kumar of Nepal Footprint Holidays and our porter Sudeep. Both great guys!! We had a marvellous time and food and lodges were a perfect arrangement! Chitwan was a hell of a ride, but worth it. Parkland Hotel in Chitwan was 100 % the right choise!

Nepal Footprint might be a small company but nevertheless excellent! 10/10 we would contact them again for the ABC trek Annapurna in the future!!
