Hello Nepal Wanderer!! Namaste!!
We two (Jochen and Angi) had a tour to Mustang through Nepal Footprint in the year 2019. We found them by some of Recommendation from Germany. The tour was as excellent and everything were as per planned as they offer us before the trek booking. The guide Raj is just perfect, very informative, know the local places, people and so helpful for other people as well. The company provide well first aid kits for the trek to back up. Choice of accommodation, food and local cuisine suggested by our guide.
Very important is the Tiji festival in Lo Manthang. That we ever have seen one of best fest in Nepal in the Buddhist kingdom. Colorful masks and dresses, very musical by local people, they offer us local drinks and explain about the festival. Thanks for this excellent trip to Footprint Trek.

Me and some mates just completed a trek to EBC and back with Nepal Footprint.
The organization and professionalism of Nepal Footprint Holidays was amazing throughout the entire process. I cant commend them enough on how the entire process was handled.
We had Kumar as our guide and I couldn’t recommend him enough if you are after a knowledgeable and committed guide who wants the best for his trekkers, their health and experience.
Also, if you are thinking about trekking Nepal, don’t go with a large international company. Nepal Footprint will put together a package to suit your needs without the 20 person group that i could imagine would be frustrating. All at a reduced cost.
Thank you so much again to Bashu, Kumar and the team at Nepal Footprint.
Bashu coordinated a city guide for four UNESCO sites as well as a 7-day Pikey Peak trek in a professional manner. Both trips were excellent. I wished for better weather on the trek, but still had an amazing time meeting many different people along the tea house trek.
My only complaint would be having gone off the trail twice which lead our group down and up some pretty steep as well as challenging trekking conditions. We did always find our way to our destinations, yet more planning, trail marking, or guide mapping would have been appreciated.
I am happy with Nepal Footprint services and think the pricing was fair compared to other online companies.
We’ve had an amazingly well organized guided trek to Lantang region. It’s the second time that I come to Nepal, both with Bashu’s help, and I recommend Nepal Footprint Holiday very strongly. If you’re looking for mountain professionals taking real care of their clients, with a sense of humor and a perfect flexibility and understanding, look no further.
In more details:
We are just back from a 14-day trek to the Langtang region in January, overall our itinerary was a combination of Tamang Heritage, Langtang Valley and a part of the Gosaikunda trek. We are two 27-year guys, in decent physical condition but without experience in the mountains.
Bashu helped us set up the itinerary with his usual dedication and flexibility, and our guide on the trek was Ram Rai. Ram has been an amazing guide, very professional and experienced. He adapted several times our itinerary ad hoc based on our condition and the challenges remaining ahead – such as going further by a couple hours on the way up the Langtang valley, or stopping for an afternoon rest before going to Cholang Pati. We were surprised by snowfall while in Cholang Pati, before going to Gosaikunda, and his reaction was swift and logical: go down to Dhunche, which we did immediately. Thanks to his guiding expertise we’ve also managed to climb the Tsergo Ri, which was one of the highlights of our trip. The view on the mountains around is fantastic, and knowing that we were higher than any point in Europe felt quite special.
And more importantly, we’ve always felt safe on the way, and we managed to physically get the best out of ourselves while still feeling protected and safe – a perfect combination for two people with low experience of the mountains!
Beyond the trail expertise, Ram has also always made sure that we were feeling good, taking care of accommodation, food and water, and all the small details of life.
I would strongly recommend going through NPH for a trek in Nepal, you will be in good hands.
We spent a great time in Nepal this October. Bashu is extremly friendly and can solve every unexpected situation with his well prepared team. Ram who was our guide during the treking knew when we need some rest and when we could hurry a bit, during the 14 days trek we never felt ourself tired. I hope we meet again soon.
