Foreign passport holder needs to arrive in Kathmandu 2 working days before the fixed departure date – Day 1 in the itinerary. Chinese Embassy does not accept the visa application on Saturday and Sunday. For Indian Yatries, we need all the original passport in our contact office New Delhi before 10 days from the Yatra date. To get the Visa from the Chinese Embassy it takes more thane 3 working days. In that case, visa and passport forward to Kathmandu, and we will hand over you from Kathmandu. Please make sure every Indian passport holder most has a Voter Card. With a Voter card, you allow flying in Nepal without any problem.
Kathmandu (1300 mts.) Arrival, Our representative will meet at the airport and escort to the Hotel, Free at own and Evening dinner, overnight stay at Katmandu.
Kathmandu – After breakfast start to Kathmandu sightseeing including Pashupatinath and Budhakanth Darshan, back to hotel and rest of the day is free for packing and program briefing.
Kathmandu to Rasuwa Gadhi via Langtang Park (drive 160kms.) – This is the first day of the Yatra. After breakfast depart from Katmandu to China border by reserved tourist coach. It is a newly open trading route of Nepal and Tibet – China. It takes about 7 to 8 hours. We stop an guest house in a small developing place. Simple Guest house and vegan food provided by our kitchen team.
Morning, we reach Kerung (Rasuwa Gadhi border) immigration process and cross the border, than drive to Jilong. A small Tibetan town after 40kms drive from border. We rest and acclimatize day in Tibet high land. Guest house. Food will provided by our team.
Jilong to Saga / Dongba (4500mts. – 375kms) – After breakfast drive from Jilong to Dongba. After 3 hours we cross Bramhaputra river and saga city. Overnight stay at Dongba in simple guesthouse. Our team provide you vegan meal.
Dongba (4500mts. – 335kms) to Chui Gompa Mansarovar Lake – After breakfast drive from Dongba to Chui Gompa. All good road drive. Overnight stay in tent or guesthouse.
Stay at Mansarovar (4510mts.) – free for pooja and hawan, This is the first day stay at the bank of the Manasarovar Lake. We will choose the special point to take dip in Manasarovar Lake and do Pooja of Lord Shiva. Full day free for spiritual activities. Overnight stay in tent or guesthouse.
Drive to Darchen to Diraphuk (4890mts. – 12kms.) – This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. We should start our journey after breakfast as early as possible. This day we have to walk continuously for about 6 to 7 hours. Yak will carry all our goods and equipment. Overnight stay at Diraphuk in tent.
Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790mts. – 22kms.) – This day is very sensitive and we have to pass Dolma-La Pass, which is 5630 m. above sea level. The weather in unpredictable in Doma-la Pass and at any time snowstorm can fall. So we try to start our journey as early as possible. In route we can have Darshan of Gaurikund but it is very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay in route to Zhuthulphuk in Mud House.
Zhulthulphuk to Mansarovar Lake – Saga. We will trek down to Darchen. later, our tour drive towards drive to Kathmandu following the same route via Mansarovar Lake
Jilong to Katmandu – after 40kms drive to border. Custom formalities we will be picked up by Nepal side and continue drive to Kathmandu for about 9 hours hours and check into same hotel.
