Myths and Facts About Kailash Mansarovar

Many devotees mistakenly believe there are numerous temples of Lord Shiva, Parvati, Ganesh, and Shivlingams around the Kailash Mansarovar region. Instead, the spiritual power of this region lies in its natural beauty, sacred geography, and deep mythological significance.

While there are no man-made temples, the area is dotted with ancient Buddhist monasteries and sacred meditation caves used by saints and yogis. These natural shrines have been revered for thousands of years.
