Detailed Itinenary
Arrival in: Kathmandu | Departure from:
1 Arrival in Kathmandu.
Landing Kathmandu Airport, Pickup by Footprint Holiday representative then drive to Hotel, Free time for refreshment. Evening welcome dinner with your bike expedition guide. Hotel B/B plan.
2 Kathmandu Biking.
Warm up bike riding trip in the corner of Kathmandu like test ride and prepare for Mustang Bike tour. Hotel B/B plan.
3 Drive to Pokhara.
Drive to Pokhara or fly to pokhara. Explore around Lake site, a beautiful place boating on fewa lake hangout around. Get prepared for morning flight to Jomsom. Hotel B/B Plan.
4 Fly to Jomsom, ride to Kagbeni.
Early Morning fly to Jomsom, short magic mountain flight, setup bikes in jomsom, then mountain bike riding to Kagbeni via Ekalebhatti and Jhong. Riding along the famous kaligandaki river with strong wind from behind. Today you will get off road biking experience on dry rain shadow area of lower mustang, about 20km ride. Visit ancient kegbeni village and old monastery in there and stay at local Lodge. B/L/D.
5 Ride to Muktinath.
After breakfast, ride all the way to uphill about 1000m. within 12km. The muktinath will be final destination for us. Take slow ride with many stop and stunning view of dry landscapes, mountains and villages. Spent some time to visit famous holy places – Monastery and Temple vishnu Muktinath. free afternoon get relax before bustling biking day. Local Guest house B/L/D.
6 Bike to Chhukusang village.
After breakfast begin your challenge in Upper mustang kingdom. Cross the check post and suspension bridge on Jhong border, then biking in dusty dry walking trail you will enjoy so much till small pass 3900. After the pass, single track down hill will be one of the most fun ride in Mustang mountain bike trip. Reaching Chhukusang village for lunch then short easy and last minute hard ride to Chaile where you can see the dramatic mustang and river. Local lodge in Chaile village with B/L/D.
7 Bike ride to Ghami.
Biking from Chaile to Ghami the longest riding over 4000m. pass. Cross few small passes and villages like Samar, Syangboche and Ghiling then we can have lunch. After lunch a hard uphill ride to Ghami la then exciting downhill to Ghami. Local lodge. B/L/D.
8 Riding to Tsarang.
Riding to Tsarang takes about 4 to 5 hours. Ride through one of the longest prayer mane wall in mustang kingdom. You need to cross another pass Tsarang La then easy ride to Tsarang. Visit monastery and village in Tsarang and self exploration. Guest house B/L/B.
9 Biking to Lo-Manthang.
Biking to Lo-Manthang city Explore Around mud city. Today is short riding but very interesting landscape. Ride in dusty uphill and downhill trail you reach to lost tibetan kingdom. Great view of Lomanthang city and far horizon to Tibet Borderland. After lunch we make rest time and explore city around. Simple Lodge B/L/D.
10 Explore Lo-manthang.
Full day Exploration Lo-Manthang visit Monastery, King palace if possible, engage with local people and enjoy with scenic beauty of Lo Manthang. Lodge B/L/D.
14 Biking to Tatopani via Kalopani.
Biking to Tatopani via Kalopani and world deepest gorge Ghasa Lete valley.Lodge B/L/D.
This day a most important for you. Because you riding along the world deepest gorge between 2 8000 meter mountain Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri. Cross the border form Mustang to Enter the low land. All the way is dirt but most of easy effort bike ride. After arrive Tatopani (Hot Spring) you will sweet and after the hot nature bathing you will get refresh with fresh orange juice.
15 Biking to Sarangkot Hill.
Biking to Sarangkot Hill Station. Lodge B/L/D.
This day you riding almost lowest gorge along the kali gandaki river bank to Maldhunga. Where people begin river rafting in Kaligandaki river. Than join to Pokhara highway ride up to Naudanda via Nayapul you have to ride up down and flat. From Kande you can have a nice view of Pokhara city with beautiful lakes and mountains. 12 km to Sarangkot again off road biking where you can see sunset and sunrise better.
16 Bike ride to Pokhara and drive to Kathmandu.
Early Morning Sunrise view then ride down to Pokhara and Drive/Fly to Kathmandu Hotel Explore self.
