    Overnight Kathmandu biking tour goes the hills around Kathmandu dense forest, wonderful mountain view, and the trails through these woodlands are so fascinating that the biking around Kathmandu becomes the ultimate pedaling adventure catering to all the amazing highlights of mid-hill Nepal. Extremely authentic rural culture, the wide biodiversity of floral and faunal species, the amazing landscapes of green woods, and of course the Himalayan panorama are the prime highlights of the Biking Tour around Kathmandu Valley.

    Our biking adventure around Kathmandu comprises the ever-pleasant Kakani hill-station, which caters to extreme tranquility, great Himalayan vistas, and authentic rural culture. Pedaling through the rugged terrains of Shivapuri National Park, where sightings of diverse species of birds are obvious we arrive at Budanilkantha. Explore around the Hindu Temple, where the gigantic idol of Sleeping Bishnu attracts hundreds of Hindu devotees every day. The final highlight of the tour goes along the ascending trail to Nagarkot.

    The nearest hill-station from Kathmandu, Nagarkot offers the widespread Himalayan Range from Annapurna Massif to Everest also caters to the incredible sunrise view. Descending down from Nagarkot brings us to the city of devotees, Bhaktapur, and the oldest Hindu Temple of the country, Changunarayan. Explore around these UNESCO World Heritage Sites and pedal back to Kathmandu.

    TRIP ITINERARY

    Today we ride about 27 km form the hub of city Thamel. First few km on city then slowly up trial about 6km to mudkhu along the royal queen forest. Then easy ride about 5km to Tin Piple. Where you can see the beautiful kathmandu valley with farming areas. continue uphill riding to Kakani via Rainbow Trout Fish Highway. On the way we cross some beautiful villages, farming paddy fields and beautiful mountain view just before Kakani. Kakani is hill station where we see beautiful sunset/sunrise as well.

    Riding to Mulkharka Sundarijal via Shivapuri, Sleeping Vishnu Temple and Nagi Gompa .

    This day we enter the Shivapuri National Park after few km bike riding in the ridge of hill. The trail offer great himalayan view and single track bike riding experience. After 10km single track riding continue follow the dirt jeep track to Danda goan with viewing of Kathmandu valley. All the trail we ride insight the forest some time you have chance to see some wild bore and wild animals. After ganda Goan, we ride all the way down to budanilkhanta (Sleeping Vishnu temple and visit temple. This biking section is one of the most relax part of our kathmandu biking trip. Lunch in local restaurent then continue ride up to Shivapuri National Park entrance Gate. After 5km uphill ride we reach famous buddhist nuns monastery Nagi Gompa. Visit Monastery and the great view of Kathmandu continue ride to MulKharka along the dirt track easy and downhill. Today we ride about 32km. Stay at local Lodge

    Biking to Nagarkot via Jhule Shivapuri National Park Lodge.

    Today our biking tour going uphill first 3 hours to Dhap. Dhap is on the middle of Shivapuri National Park jungle where the way conflict 2 part. We ride along the village first then along the clean river side in jungle. It is kind of Eco riding trip. Next 1 hour ride Jhule where we end the national park. This biking trail we cross many people who making hiking trip from Chisapani to Nagarkot as a part of Kathmandu Valley trek. After out form National Park short down hill to Eco Mountain Resort for Lunch. After lunch, down to Chauki Bhanguyang and follow the black top road to Jarshing Pauwa then dirt road to Nagarkot. Today we ride about 23km but 50 percent trail is uphill. Stay in Ngarkot Hill station.

    Biking Kathmandu via Changunarayan and Bhaktapur.

    After sunrise view and breakfast our last day riding will begin form downhill along the villages and temple. Few hour ride to Changunarayan where you can visit kathmandu oldest UNESCO sight then visit Bhaktapur city and ride back to Kathmandu. Today we ride about 40km most of easy ride.
